Omega Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup Edition
To mark its role as the official timekeeper of the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, Omega has dropped the Seamaster Diver 300M, a 42mm collectible in stainless steel. It is a handsome piece, boasting a blue ceramic unidirectional bezel with a regatta scale, including a Start section inspired by sailing flags.
Fashioned from white ceramic, the dial flaunts laser-engraved waves in positive relief, evoking the sea. The central seconds hand pays tribute to the America’s Cup trophy, while the sapphire crystal caseback proudly features the iconic Barcelona logo.
Powering the watch is Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, meeting rigorous standards for precision and magnetic resistance set by Metas, Switzerland’s Federal Institute of Metrology.
Presented in a commemorative blue box, it comes with either a stainless-steel bracelet ($9,450) or a blue rubber strap ($8,950) which boasts the brand’s Quick-Change system.
Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Automatique BVL 138 Sketch (Steel)
Since its debut in 2014, Bvlgari’s Octo Finissimo series has been celebrated for its ultra-thin designs and record-breaking feats. As the brand marks its 140th anniversary, the spotlight turns to the Octo Finissimo Sketch, which cleverly marries art and mechanics.
There are three limited editions: the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Sketch and the Octo Finissimo Automatique BVL 138 Sketch, available in steel and rose gold. All feature dials which are crafted to evoke the view of the movement as seen through an open caseback, a nod to the Italian Renaissance tradition of preserving sketches, or “schizzi”, for posterity.
The 40mm Automatique BVL 138 steel model, limited to 280 pieces, charms with its ultra-slim 6.4mm profile and a sapphire caseback etched with “Edizione Limitata” and “1884-2024”. Inside, the in-house BVL 138 calibre offers a robust 60-hour power reserve. The design is a study in monochrome, with shades of grey highlighted by polished and satin-brushed finishes.
